Responsibilities Develop and implement clinical procedures and guidelines, as needed. Actively participate in staff meetings and case presentations. Assist in supervising Care Coordinators during initial intakes. Provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, as appropriate. Deliver patient‑centered therapy interventions with an emphasis on patient involvement in treatment. Use the electronic medical record to document screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress, and referrals, meeting required timelines. Advocate for patients’ access to community resources. Collaboratively develop treatment plans with input from patients, families, treatment team members, and other agencies. Coordinate and communicate with the treatment team to provide optimal care. Employ multiple interventions (group, individual, family therapy) to help patients meet identified goals. Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity issues in assessment and treatment. Show respect for the inherent dignity and worth of patients. Actively monitor patient progress toward goals and address termination/discharge issues, providing referrals as needed.
