Their two primary responsibilities are keeping the restaurant running smoothly by completing key tasks and coaching/developing team members so they can grow and thrive.

Position type: Full-time and part-time.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule opening or closing the restaurant a variety of weekdays and on both Fridays and Saturdays
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes standing for the entirety of your shift and lifting over 30 lbs.
- Provide genuine hospitality to guests with a heart of service
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members
- Strong commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to manage team member behavioral and performance issues
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Ability to respond well to leadership/authority and coaching
- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred
Team leader responsibilities:
- Actively participate in daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Offer immediate and respectful responses to guest needs, ensuring a remarkable hospitality experience
- Maintain Chick-fil-A's food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards at all times
- Assist in training team members, set the tone for each shift, and serve as a role model for the team
- Lead by example as a friendly, encouraging, and dependable team player
- Open and/or close the restaurant, lead shifts, and act as a key holder
- Ensure consistent execution of established restaurant systems (hospitality, food safety, cleanliness, scheduling, cash handling, etc.) to maintain operational excellence
- Maintain accountability for shift systems such as checklists, line-up routines, and handoff procedures to ensure smooth daily operations
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and servant leadership
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A expectations, standards, and dress code at all times
- Other duties as assigned
