Planner / Project-Level Healthcare Planning LeadArray Architects is seeking a Healthcare Planner 2 to support and lead portions of complex healthcare planning efforts across outpatient, inpatient, and system-focused projects. This role is ideal for a planner who has moved beyond basic support tasks and is ready to independently lead departmental planning efforts, user engagement sessions, and planning deliverables.This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and spatial planning strategies, along with the ability to translate user input into clear and actionable planning solutions.What You’ll DoLead planning efforts for departments or smaller healthcare projectsDevelop functional programs, blocking diagrams, stacking studies, and test fitsFacilitate user group meetings and synthesize operational input into planning directionCoordinate planning solutions across architecture, interiors, and engineering disciplinesSupport medical planning narratives, planning graphics, and strategic planning presentationsIdentify operational inefficiencies, workflow challenges, and planning opportunitiesParticipate in pursuits, interviews, and client presentationsMentor junior planning staff and contribute to planning standards and tools6–8 years total professional experience3–5 years focused healthcare planning experienceExperience with healthcare programming, operational flow, and departmental relationshipsStrong understanding of healthcare design principles and clinical workflowsAbility to independently lead defined planning scopesStrong communication and facilitation skillsRevit experience preferredLicensed Architect, Interior Designer, or working toward licensure preferredCore Behavioral ExpectationsAt Array, healthcare planning is highly collaborative and deeply connected to client trust, team alignment, and operational problem-solving.
