We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate willdesign, implement, and maintain enterprise-level networks in support of theFederal Aviation Administration (FAA). In this role, you will providetechnical expertise in routing, switching, and secure communications, ensuring FAA systems meet the highest standards ofavailability, scalability, and security. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs. In this position, you will: Design, configure, and maintainLAN, WAN, and cloud-connected networks. Install and supportrouters, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless devices. Implement and managenetwork security controlsto comply with NIST RMF, FISMA, and Zero Trust requirements. Conductperformance tuning, capacity planning, and optimizationof FAA networks. Performtroubleshooting and root cause analysisfor network outages and latency issues. Support the deployment and integration ofNextGen FAA modernization systems. Maintain accuratenetwork documentation, diagrams, and configuration baselines. Conductrisk assessments and vulnerability managementfor network devices and services. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to monitor, detect, and mitigate threats. Provide technical expertise fornetwork-related proposals, upgrades, and lifecycle planning. Support modernization initiatives, optimize performance, and troubleshoot complex issues while ensuring compliance with FAA and federal standards. Design and troubleshoothigh-availability and redundant network topologies. Prepareaudit-ready documentationand support compliance reviews. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Required. Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance. Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience; or Masters degree and 6 years; or Associate’s degree and 10 years’ experience; or HS diploma/equivalent and 12 years experience. Experience in network engineering or administration roles. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, MPLS, and VPN technologies. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent enterprise-class networking equipment. Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network access control systems. Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or equivalent). Hands-on experience with wireless LAN/WAN technologies. Preferred Qualifications : Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience. Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP, or CompTIA Network+. Experience supporting FAA, DOT, DHS, DoD, or other large-scale federal programs. Familiarity with NextGen FAA modernization initiatives. Background in cloud networking and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and SD-WAN solutions. Knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards (FedRAMP, TIC 3.0, CISA guidance). Familiarity withFAA standards or other federal network requirements.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
