Early Intervention Specialist- Anderson

Early Interventionist Must reside in South Carolina for consideration. Must have at least 1 year of experience with children 0‑6 years. Service Areas Serve in the following counties: Anderson, Clemson, Greenville, Mauldin, Travelers Rest, Taylor, Simpsonville, Tigerville, Easley. About Play is looking for energetic, creative, motivated professionals with strong time‑management and organizational skills to support families and children ages birth to six with developmental delays or disabilities. Preferred or recent/soon-to-be college graduates in related fields with willingness for on‑the‑job training will also be considered. Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field.
• 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree in any field with 5 years of documented experience with infants and toddlers or children age birth to 5 years with disabilities.

Responsibilities and Duties Provide family‑centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Perform family training with caregivers and children in their home, daycare or natural environment setting. Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning. Develop and implement strategies to promote child development. Monitor the progress of the child and family. Qualifications and Experience 1 year of experience with children 0‑6 years (preferred). Driver’s License and reliable car. CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (preferred). Travel 50‑75% travel required. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Job Type Full‑time. Location Must reside in the listed counties and the surrounding areas in South Carolina. Salary A base salary of $40,000 per year with travel mileage reimbursement at $0.45 per mile up to a $565 monthly cap, potentially increasing total compensation to $46,780 annually.
