Our client is looking to grow its legal team with a Senior FERC Attorney who will play a vital role in shaping transmission and market strategy at the federal level.Why This Opportunity Stands OutMake an Impact: Represent one of the region’s largest utilities in high-stakes regulatory matters before FERC and appellate tribunals.Grow With Us: Expand your expertise in federal utility regulation and work alongside respected professionals in the energy sector.Collaborative Culture: Work cross-functionally with legal, regulatory, and business teams in a collegial, team-oriented environment.Competitive Package: Strong compensation and benefits, with room to grow professionally.What You’ll Be DoingAdvise on and manage legal issues involving FERC, with a focus on PJM and other RTOs, including litigation and regulatory proceedings.Serve as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, offering legal and business guidance.Coordinate and manage work with outside counsel, consultants, and internal teams.Conduct legal research and analysis on administrative law, regulatory rules, and appellate matters.Navigate proceedings under the Administrative Procedure Act and related regulations.What We’re Looking ForJ.D. from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing (any state).7–10 years of litigation or regulatory experience; FERC experience strongly preferred.Deep familiarity with the Administrative Procedure Act and regulatory agency processes.Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
