Full-Stack Engineer, Build Tools for Artists

We ensure continuous delivery, working with sprints and daily standups, always aiming to use the newest technology and implement solutions effectively. In early 2023, we established our Artist Engineering team dedicated to developing products for artists. We aim to provide better, more effective tools to help artists save time, energy, and money, allowing them to focus on their music. Responsibilities: Collaborate with our frontend and backend teams to build, maintain, and deliver product features for artist tools. Develop a new product focused on empowering musicians in their artistic journey. Analyze and implement technical improvements and performance optimizations. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript on both client and server sides. Strong programming skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks like Vue.js, React, Nuxt.js, Express.js, and Node.js. Experience using tools and technologies such as Webpack, Docker, npm, Git, Kibana, AWS, etc. Self‑driven and motivated developer who enjoys working in a team. Strong collaboration and cross‑functional skills; your best work is done in a team environment. Passion for technology, with the ability to solve complex problems and ensure users love your work. Compensation: Block takes a market‑based approach to pay, and compensation may vary depending on your location.
