Assistant Store Manager

Role Overview: The Assistant Store Manager supports the daily operations of a retail store with a strong customer-first approach. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, operating cash registers, and managing transactions. Assist with store opening and closing procedures. Help schedule, train, and ensure compliance of employees, conducting safety meetings as needed. Manage merchandise through receiving, stocking, rotating, and creating displays following company standards. Maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, and paperwork. Support the implementation of planograms to ensure proper merchandise presentation. Ensure financial accuracy through cashier accountability, cash handling, and secure deposit procedures. Assist in store management duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
