If you're interested in being part of a diverse workforce in a supportive work environment, MAC Trailer is the place for you.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinates all in plant activity following principles, and procedures established by company.Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of employee resources, machines, and equipment.Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.Revises production schedules and priorities as result of staffing, procurement or equipment failure.Consults with manufacturing engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment to improve production, and quality of products.Communicate production issues to appropriate departments.Provides reports and data of production to management as requested.Recommend budgets to management.Regularly converse with all production employees to promote engagement and retention.Applies to all production mgmt. levels.Know, observe and enforce all general safety rules and such special instructions that are designated for their plant.Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:Manage supervisors and staff in Plant Operations.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferred.
