Browning Contractors Inc., a trusted leader in underground construction serving California’s Central Valley, is seeking an experienced and dedicated  Project Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who excels in a collaborative environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and performance.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent technical training and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage field crews and coordinate operations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in project documentation, scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience in underground utility work is preferred.
• Familiarity with HCSS software is a plus.
• Valid California Class A, B, or C driver’s license and clean DMV record are required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project setup, including securing necessary permits and licenses.
• Assist in planning and executing field operations.
• Manage equipment logistics, material deliveries, and field orders.
• Schedule and oversee required testing and inspections.
• Maintain accurate records, including as-built drawings and project progress updates.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all project objectives and quality standards are met.
• Utilize project management software and systems to monitor team performance and timelines.
• Maintain a professional, detail-oriented, and positive approach at all times.
• Stay current with industry technologies, trends, and procedures.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time, primarily field-based position located throughout the Central Valley. Weekly hours will average around 45, depending on weather conditions and project demands.
