A/R Coordinator

Accounts Receivable Coordinator The Accounts Receivable Coordinator supports the accounting team by helping ensure customer invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time. This onsite role is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting or finance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and enjoys collaborating with both customers and internal teams. Responsibilities for this role include: Assist with the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment application, collections, and account reconciliations. Prepare and file pre-lien notices and related documentation with guidance from the team. Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and assist in resolving payment issues. Apply customer payments and help investigate billing discrepancies or short payments. Maintain billing records, retainage information, lien waivers, and other supporting documentation. Respond to customer billing inquiries and work with internal teams to resolve questions. Support month-end accounting activities, reconciliations, and reporting. Help maintain accurate customer account records and ensure documentation is up to date. What you'll need to be successful in this role: 0-2 years of accounting, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or administrative experience. Basic to intermediate spreadsheet skills and the ability to learn new systems. Experience with accounting or ERP software is helpful but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to learn accounting processes and procedures. Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City; no remote or hybrid opportunities.
