Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: San Antonio, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with ICU experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and comfort for our patients during their stay in the Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and symptoms while maintaining accurate patient records.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to create and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in Texas (temporary licenses are not accepted).
• At least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Knowledge of Meditech documentation system preferred.
• Experience with vasopressors and NIH protocols required.
