Asset Protection Manager

A retail organization is seeking an Asset Protection Manager in New York City to support store operations across multiple locations. This role focuses on loss prevention, safety, audits, investigations, and compliance while helping maintain a secure and well-managed retail environment.

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekends expected
• Hours: 10am to 7pm
• Setting: In-person, field-based

• Oversee asset protection efforts across multiple retail locations.
• Conduct regular audits focused on inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and cash handling compliance.
• Investigate inventory loss, cash loss, policy breaches, and other security-related concerns.
• Review and update policies, procedures, and training materials to support operational compliance.
• Manage vendor invoices, monitor service agreements, and support vendor relationship compliance.

• At least 3 years of retail loss prevention management experience in a multi-store environment
• High School Diploma / GED
• Wicklander-Zulawski certification
• Experience conducting internal and external investigations
• Working knowledge of alarms, locks, keys, and CCTV systems
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• College degree
• Experience developing policies and procedures in a retail environment
• Experience coaching staff and supporting training program development
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance, emergency procedures, and safety inspections
• Experience with vendor management, invoice review, and contract compliance
