Job Title Slitter Operator C 6A24 - BOPP Mini Slitter II - SLOB - SLITTER OPERATOR B Position Objective To ensure production of consistent quality product meeting all customer and internal quality requirements while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Qualifications Good oral / written communication skills Mechanical aptitude Computing skills Job Responsibilities Exhibit safe work habits; including ensuring equipment is in safe working condition and reporting any unsafe acts / conditions to Senior Lead Follow Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures when necessary Identify quality defects on slit reels Locate and utilize procedures and specifications All required documentation; including production and housekeeping Comply with company recycling policy Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements Work Environment Conditions Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces. Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles. Using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. Inside and outside environments apply. Manufacturing environment. Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot) Subject to noise.
