Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing you to deliver personalized therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a flexible and supportive environment, enabling you to build meaningful relationships with patients while also collaborating with colleagues and other healthcare professionals. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet engaging work routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical abilities and needs by conducting comprehensive evaluations, gathering patient histories, and analyzing test results.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities to address specific patient challenges.
• Administer effective therapies and interventions to improve clients' mobility, strength, and balance, utilizing cost-effective techniques.
• Provide patient education on exercises and self-care strategies that reinforce therapeutic goals and promote independence.
• Document patient progress rigorously, including evaluations, treatment methods, and outcomes, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain a manageable caseload with an emphasis on individualized, high-quality care, typically serving one patient per hour.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Encourage patients enthusiastically throughout their treatment journey, helping them to stay motivated and engaged in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or debilitating conditions that affect mobility. This may include elderly patients seeking to improve their physical capabilities or younger clients requiring rehabilitation from sports-related injuries. By working closely with each patient, you will develop effective, customized plans that directly impact their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required for this position.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is beneficial.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence-based practices.
• A strong background in patient management and rehabilitative care, particularly in home care is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
