PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM; Friday: 8 AM - 2 PM

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs and goals of your patients, guided by physician direction. You will be responsible for directing and delegating therapy services to ensure effective recovery and return to community activities. Education for patients, families, and colleagues is key, alongside performing essential professional duties related to patient care and therapy service development.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to create effective treatment plans.
• Document medical records accurately and in a timely manner, following established guidelines.
• Provide patient care within the confines of valid physician orders and applicable insurance coverage.
• Participate in student programs, offering a positive learning environment through supervision and assessments.
• Create and actively pursue a professional development plan, engaging in continuing education and professional activities.
• Maintain compliance with the discipline-specific State Practice Act and uphold professional licensure.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license for required practice.
• Experience in orthopedics is required.
