Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, tailoring each approach to the individual’s needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals, preferences, and clinical requirements. Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), fostering clients' skills in managing their emotional health. Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, various treatment options, and relevant self-care practices, ensuring they are empowered with knowledge. Continuously monitor and assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs. Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients. Stay updated on the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance treatment efficacy. Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines, contributing to the integrity of our practice. Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing training to further enhance your skills and knowledge. Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigmas and working to meet their unique emotional and psychological needs. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will predominantly involve working with individuals and families coping with relationship issues, particularly those facing divorce and associated emotional challenges. The diverse client base includes adults, adolescents, and families, all seeking support for managing their relationships, mental health, and overall well-being. Qualifications A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish secure and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients. A demonstrated capacity for empathy, a non-judgmental attitude, and a strong understanding of clients' diverse experiences and struggles. Organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks. Preferred Experience Experience with various therapeutic modalities including structural, strategic, systems, narrative, transgenerational, or communication therapy is preferred. Prior experience in divorce and relationship counseling will be considered a strong asset. Familiarity with best practices in evidence-based treatments. Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this role ranges from USD 52,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your qualifications and experience.
