Role Purpose The Practice Administrator leads the business and clinical operations at one or more ambulatory clinics. This role provides comprehensive on‑site leadership for clinical and non‑clinical operations. Responsibilities Manages individual(s) including onboarding and hiring, training, workload management and performance evaluations, and conducts professional development plans. Ensures productivity and actions of the group meet departmental operational goals. Develops and adheres to departmental staffing and budget plans, responding to business changes that may affect budget goals. Collaborates with providers to oversee effective schedules, clinic workflow and patient flow; maintains a cooperative relationship of trust and engagement with providers and Physician Leaders. Develops and implements business plans aligned with organizational goals, using BJC high‑reliability operating systems to monitor performance and lead improvement efforts. Leads and participates in daily huddles and rounding to facilitate patient flow, implements department standard work and procedures, and responds promptly to workflow barriers.
