ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals within the commercial insurance sector.
Actively prospect for new commercial clients through various lead generation methods, including networking, cold calling, and referrals.
Conduct thorough needs assessments with prospective clients to understand their unique business risks and insurance requirements.
Design and present tailored commercial insurance proposals, highlighting the value and benefits of Virgil E Smith Insurance Services Inc.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with commercial clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with underwriters and support staff to ensure smooth policy placement and servicing.
Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and new insurance products to better serve clients.
RequirementsValid Texas Property & Casualty License (Required).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales.
Demonstrated success in prospecting and closing new business.
Strong understanding of various commercial insurance products and coverages.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (EZ Lynx) and Microsoft Office Suite.
A proactive and results-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
