We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Parts Manager with a strong background in the automotive industry to oversee parts procurement, inventory management, supplier relationships, and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have experience managing automotive parts, coordinating with vendors, ensuring parts availability, controlling costs, and supporting service and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage automotive parts procurement, purchasing, inventory control, and distribution operations.
\n
• Oversee parts ordering, stock replenishment, inventory counts, and inventory accuracy.
\n
• Build and maintain relationships with automotive parts suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.
\n
• Coordinate parts availability for vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service operations.
\n
• Monitor purchase orders, backorders, shipments, returns, and warranty claims.
\n
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms with suppliers.
\n
• Ensure the timely availability of OEM, aftermarket, and replacement parts.
\n
• Analyze inventory levels, demand trends, and parts turnover to prevent shortages and excess stock.
\n
• Coordinate with service departments, technicians, warehouse personnel, and purchasing teams.
\n
• Track supplier performance, procurement costs, and inventory management metrics.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, purchasing activities, and inventory movements.
\n
• Lead and support parts department personnel while improving operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• Previous experience in automotive parts management, supply chain management, purchasing, or inventory control.
\n
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components, and replacement parts.
\n
• Experience with parts ordering, inventory systems, supplier coordination, and procurement processes.
\n
• Understanding of OEM and aftermarket automotive parts.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management or ERP systems.
\n
• Strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate inventory records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with automotive dealerships, truck dealerships, repair shops, fleet maintenance operations, or automotive parts distributors.
\n
• Familiarity with automotive parts catalogs, warranty returns, and supplier pricing.
\n
• Experience managing a parts department or supervising purchasing and warehouse personnel.
