Job Description Our private client, in collaboration with Corporate Recruitment Solutions, is dedicated to providing top-quality healthcare services to patients in need of acute care, particularly in the emergency room setting. We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team and contribute to the efficient and effective operation of our emergency room. As a Registered Nurse specializing in acute care within the emergency room, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your expertise, clinical judgment, and compassion will be vital in ensuring the well-being of our patients during critical moments. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms, to triage and prioritize care. Emergency Care: Provide immediate care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions, injuries, or trauma, following evidence-based protocols and best practices. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective interventions. Medication Administration: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, and monitor patient responses, documenting all care provided. Diagnostic Procedures: Assist with and facilitate diagnostic tests and procedures, such as radiology, laboratory work, and electrocardiograms (ECGs). Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and follow-up care, promoting self-management and health literacy. Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies within the ER, including cardiac arrests, traumas, and other critical incidents, providing life‑saving interventions as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards. Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth operations in the emergency room. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and effective healthcare environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant RN licensure. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). BLS and ACLS certification (PALS and TNCC may also be required). Previous experience in acute care or emergency room nursing preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
