Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available to provide vacation coverage in a busy retail pharmacy setting. This role requires a pharmacist who can efficiently manage high prescription volumes using PioneerRx software and contribute to smooth pharmacy operations without immunization duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no lunch closure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and verify over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
• Check prescriptions thoroughly for accuracy and compliance
• Answer phones professionally and assist with customer inquiries
• Verify and maintain accountability for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of three full-time pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless workflow
• Perform data entry and product verification tasks precisely

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with PioneerRx system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of prescriptions efficiently

This is a per diem role offering flexible coverage primarily to cover vacations, including a specific need around November 25. The pharmacy maintains regular hours Monday through Friday, and the pharmacist schedule starts earlier than store hours to ensure readiness.
