Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current nursing license required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Knowledge of Meditech charting system Strong vascular skills preferred Description: 2-6 days of call per month are required. There are 5 operating rooms available. The patient ratio is 1 RN to 1 patient. Staffing typically includes 5-6 RNs and 6 techs on any given day. There is 1 Anesthesia Tech and 1 OR Analyst present. Standard OR equipment is utilized. The documentation system in use is Meditech. There are no floating policies for this position. There are no specific patient experience requirements. Advanced skills are needed in a variety of procedural areas: Ortho, Spine, Vascular, General Surgery, Colorectal, Robotic, GYN, and ENT. The required uniform is scrubs, which are provided by the facility.
