Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health role in Alameda County requiring an active CA PT license and 1+ year of home health experience.

Details

• Home health setting covering Alameda County, with territory expansion as needed
• Schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, plus one weekend rotation per month
• Uses Kinnser documentation system
• Issued iPad and Verizon One Talk device for daily use
• Productivity requirement of 30 points per week, with visit types weighted by point value

Requirements

• Active CA PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
• Must be able to prioritize and manage start of care visits
• Ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants

Additional Information

• Responsible for next-day mandatory reporting of start of care visits
• Clinical notes and documentation due within 48 hours of each visit
• Must maintain timely communication with supervisor, intake, and office staff
• Expected to be generally responsive during normal business hours
• Training includes 3 full days, one in-house and two in the field
• Open to first-time travelers
