Job Description
The Construction Worker will play a vital role in supporting residential and commercial construction projects through skilled manual labor, ensuring site preparation and material handling are carried out efficiently and safely. This position involves frequent travel between multiple sites with periodic supervision to maintain work quality and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment
- Handle and transport materials safely to and from job sites
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Perform carpentry tasks such as rough framing, metal framing, and kitchens/trim
- Perform light electrical, plumbing, tiling, painting, as necessary
- Conduct demolition activities as required
- Load and unload construction materials efficiently
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Assist with cleanup and site organization
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, tile, painting
- Effective communication abilities
