Bring your expertise in school psychology to a dynamic contract position supporting students from elementary through high school. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a difference throughout the school year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 28, 2027. Monday through Friday, you’ll work a consistent 37.5-hour week in a collaborative educational setting near Taylorsville, NC.

You’ll be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, focusing on re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments. The caseload may also include some initial evaluations, with additional details to be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/license for North Carolina (or eligibility)
• Experience with re-evaluation reviews and initial eligibility meetings preferred
• Skilled in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments
• Proficiency in conducting functional behavioral assessments
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school levels

Responsibilities:

• Conduct re-evaluation reviews and participate in eligibility meetings for students across all grade levels
• Perform and interpret functional behavioral assessments as needed
• Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including initial referrals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student development and progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with district and state requirements
