Full-Time and Part Time Shifts Available for Caregivers / Care Partners - No Certification Needed We have a wonderful new Nursing Leadership Team - come join them! Our full-time team members work Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Part-time team members will work two days a week plus one weekend day. If you aren't certified - that's not a problem. We'll train you! The Ridge Foothill will also pay for your CNA Class and Certification, if you are interested. Responsibilities of a Caregiver / Care Partner: * Provide resident centered personal care including bathroom assistance, washing, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, and social support * Assist residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment * Deliver a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks and supplements * Document resident care and behavior Qualifications of a Caregiver / Care Partner: * You are not required to be a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) - we will train the right candidates * Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills * Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success * Previous experience working with seniors preferred * Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest * Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding * Competent in organizational and time management skills * Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills * High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required. * Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
