Location: UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department: MHC 3 East Internal Med Unit Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse and provide exemplary direct patient care in a fast-paced MedSurg environment. Utilizing the nursing process, you will deliver high-quality care in alignment with UCHealth's mission, values, and standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional care in a 24/7 Acute Care environment. Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans based on comprehensive patient assessments. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively within the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated care across disciplines. Identify and address the educational needs of patients and families, providing tailored education to enhance understanding and engagement. Utilize strong critical thinking and decision-making skills while working with minimal supervision. Be proactive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating the capability to take appropriate action swiftly. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Current Colorado state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Relevant life support certification required based on position level. A minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. BLS or CPR card must be valid for at least 60 days after hire.
