Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is actively recruiting experienced CNC Machinists for an industrial manufacturing operation in Midland, TX.
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals with strong machining skills who can set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment while maintaining high standards of precision, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment as assigned.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.
- Perform precision machining on various metal components.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments.
- Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and tolerances.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances.
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code is a plus.
- CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work 11-hour shifts.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: Depending on Experience (DOE)
- Monday–Friday | 11-hour shifts
