Nurse Practitioner

Description The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with ear, nose, and throat conditions. Knowledge of medical documentation standards including ICD-10, CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance is required. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a variety of ENT-related conditions in both outpatient and procedural settings. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations Diagnose and treat common ENT conditions such as sinusitis, allergies, ear infections, hearing issues, and throat disorders Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., imaging, labs, audiology reports) Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care Collaborate with ENT physicians on complex cases and surgical planning Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR system Participate in follow-up care and ongoing patient management Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations Diagnose and treat common ENT conditions such as sinusitis, allergies, ear infections, hearing issues, and throat disorders Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., imaging, labs, audiology reports) Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies Perform in-office procedures as appropriate (e.g., nasal endoscopy, cerumen removal, minor procedures) Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care Collaborate with ENT physicians on complex cases and surgical planning Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR system Participate in follow-up care and ongoing patient management Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards Requirements Education/Certification Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., FNP, AGNP) Licensure Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio DEA license and prescriptive authority required Knowledge & Skills Previous experience in ENT, family practice, urgent care, or related specialty preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and patient interaction skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
