Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on the medical-surgical telemetry floor, including rhythm monitoring and patient assessments
- Interpret telemetry data, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient condition per protocol
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform basic nursing procedures within scope of practice
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate changes to the care team and participate in care planning
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care; contribute to safe patient handoffs
- Float to related units and overflow areas as needed; support unit operations during high-demand periods

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications that are current
- Ability to pass Telemetry competency exam and ECG/telemetry test during onboarding (85% passing score, one attempt)
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program; eligible for licensure in MA
- Ability to work a night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays; ability to float to similar units and overflow areas
