Overview Commercial Service Electrician Fishers, IN | Full-Time Build Your Career with FSG Are you an experienced commercial electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and working independently? FSG is looking for an Electrical Service Technician to join our growing Indianapolis team. This role is ideal for electricians who enjoy a variety of work instead of being on the same construction project every day. You’ll travel to commercial customer locations diagnosing issues, making repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and helping customers keep their facilities operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems Repair electrical equipment, lighting, controls, panels, and power distribution systems Install new electrical equipment and complete service upgrades Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics Communicate professionally with customers while providing outstanding service Complete service documentation and work orders accurately Follow all NEC requirements and company safety standards Qualifications What We’re Looking For 4+ years of commercial electrical experience Apprenticeship training preferred Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops when needed Why FSG? $30–$40/hour based on experience Company service van you take home Fuel card $50/month phone allowance Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM-3:00 PM) 22 days of PTO with cash-out options 401(k) with company match Medical insurance (employee coverage paid by FSG) Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Career advancement opportunities with one of the nation's largest electrical contractors Why Service Electricians Choose FSG Local work with a consistent schedule Variety of commercial service calls Modern company vehicle Strong benefits package Stable, long‑term career with room to grow Apply today and join a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and doing the job right the first time.
