Flexible Caregivers Needed to Support Our Clients

Dovida – Jacksonville is looking for a reliable and compassionate On-Call Caregiver who is ready to provide support when our clients need additional coverage.

This position is ideal for someone who can respond to scheduling needs, work flexible shifts, and step in when coverage is needed due to call-offs, emergencies, or short-notice assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily needs

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe movement according to the care plan

• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and other approved homemaking tasks

• Follow client care plans, Dovida procedures, and safety guidelines

• Maintain accurate availability in the scheduling system

• Respond promptly to scheduling calls and messages during designated on-call periods

• Accept and report to assigned shifts when called in during an on-call period

• Provide coverage for caregiver call-offs, open shifts, emergencies, and short-notice staffing needs

Salary & Benefits

• $17 per hour

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Pass Level 2 background check

• CPR certified

• Must pass drug testing

• Dependable, compassionate, and organized
