Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO Department: Radiology Diagnostic Work Schedule: Full Time, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 per hour, dependent on relevant experience Onsite role – no hybrid or remote options. Summary Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities Reviews patient history, physician orders and performs scheduling; educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes. Prepares equipment and supplies; selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters; implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures; troubleshoots and resolves equipment malfunctions. Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action, including repositioning and repeating procedures; enters and transmits images; may collaborate with Radiology students. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision; must perform in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); specialty ARRT certification(s) if required. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date; card must be valid through 60 days of hire.
