In Mooresville, NC, we’re looking for a Senior CNC Manufacturing Technician who loves the challenge of turning demanding prints into production-ready parts in a fast-paced setting. If dialing in offsets, refining G-code, and validating quality from first article to final inspection sounds like your kind of day, read on.
Why This Role MattersYou’ll be central to delivering high-quality components that meet client specifications—on time and on target. Your craftsmanship, judgment, and teamwork will raise the bar for consistency and efficiency across our machining operations.
What You’ll Do- Own setups and operation for CNC mills (3–4 axis VMC) and lathes (2–4 axis).
- Interpret blueprints/technical drawings and convert them into effective tooling and process plans.
- Optimize programs and make G-code or offset adjustments to improve cycle time and finish.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to keep machines running smoothly.
- Continuously monitor production and fine-tune processes to meet stringent quality targets.
- Partner with peers to streamline workflows and share best practices.
- Record production data with precision; promptly report any nonconformances.
- Execute thorough inspection of parts using advanced gauges and measurement tools.
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards across your work area.
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Comfortable on both mills and lathes.
- Proficient with G-code and CNC setup.
- Skilled at reading technical drawings and specifications.
- Detail-obsessed with strong troubleshooting instincts.
- Clear communicator who contributes positively to a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/certification is a plus.
