HP Retail Sales Representative

Overview Become a Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate! Pay: $17.50 per hour. Up to 15 hours per week, with Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs. Location: Best Buy 363 – Shreveport, LA 71105. In this role you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in local big‑box retailers and surrounding office supply stores. You will demonstrate HP products to customers, tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs, build rapport with customers, and maintain professional relationships with store management and employees. Day‑in‑the‑Life Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores. Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience. Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store. Train retail store associates on HP products and services. Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo‑readiness. Report and provide competitive insights. Key Responsibilities Sell HP products and services in a retail store, kiosk, or event environments. Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees. Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis. Welcome customers and offer assistance. Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products that fit those needs. Advise customers by providing information on products and services. Build customer confidence to help them make selections. Accurately document and report sales activity. Ensure the workstation/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable at all times. Submit all paperwork completely and accurately. Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations. Performance Measurements Regular and prompt attendance. Meet established monthly/weekly sales quotas/goals. Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of HP products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiasm and an outgoing personality. Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training. Experience in retail or customer service in electronics, tech, or wireless a plus. Training or product demonstration experience a plus. One‑year job experience required.
