Independent Verification and Validation Software Analyst Schedule: Full Time IronMountain Solutions is searching for an Independent Verification and Validation Software Analyst to support a customer located in Huntsville, AL. The candidate will execute the process of verifying system and software artifacts for compliance, focusing on source code analysis, design specification review, documentation review, and testing. Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills are essential. Basic Candidate Requirements Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. At least 3+ years of relevant professional experience. All work performed at customer site; no telework or remote option available. Key Responsibilities Develop and review plans and reports to ensure systems and software operate in compliance with requirements and design specifications. Review design, system, and test documentation related to requirements and test output. Provide technical expertise in data analyzed through the verification and validation process. Utilize strong organizational skills and collaborate with internal and external team members. Develop post‑processing analysis tools and visualizations to evaluate system performance. Perform detailed performance analyses, produce actionable insights, and suggest architectural or algorithmic enhancements. Support and develop automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins) by creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipeline jobs, scripts, and plugins. Required Qualifications Experience evaluating software products throughout the SDLC: specifications, design verification, coding, testing, and results data validation. Strong programming skills in C, C++, Java, Python, HTML, and MATLAB. Experience with SDLC Waterfall and Agile methodologies, Verification and Validation testing, and analysis. Ability to configure necessary hardware and operating environments. Knowledge of military and industry standards and software requirements. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux technologies. Good organizational skills for managing structural repositories (GIT, SharePoint). Experience with automated testing environments, frameworks, and programming languages. Familiarity with MIL‑STD and other software standards. Ability to learn and adapt to customer’s environment and processes. Participate in customer meetings, reviews, and walkthroughs. Record and close defects found during V&V activities (Requirements traceability, Static Analysis, Dynamic Analysis). Perform remediations of V&V results as required. Desired Qualifications Experience reviewing requirements, design, and CDRL documents such as SRS and SDD. Experience with requirements and traceability analysis and management. Other Requirements Required Travel: 10% Travel for client visits, training, or support activities may be required. Candidate must be able to relocate to Huntsville, AL within 30 days of offer acceptance. The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required.
