Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: The Med/Surg RN will deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a 34-bed telemetry unit. The role involves managing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient safety during night shifts. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a med/surg setting, including telemetry monitoring. Administer medications, treatments, and assessments in accordance with physician orders and protocols. Document patient information accurately in Cerner EMR system. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies. Maintain certification and licensure requirements throughout the assignment. Qualifications: Valid WV or Compact RN license; pending licenses accepted for submission. Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a med/surg or telemetry unit. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (if required) certifications through AHA. Proven ability to work night shifts 4x12 hours and manage unit ratios of 1:5-7. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with Cerner EMR.
