AI Automation EngineerThe AI Automation Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven automation solutions, leveraging large language models (LLMs), using platforms such as n8n, Databricks, Claude, CoPilot, and Microsoft Foundry to build agentic workflows that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.Reports to: VP of IT Aligned to: Decision Intelligence / AI functionDesign and build AI-powered workflows using tools such as n8n, APIs, and LLM platformsDevelop and optimize prompts for reliable outputs and agent behaviorOrchestrate multi-step AI agents across systems (email, CRM, data platforms, etc.)Integrate enterprise systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation frameworksImplement human-in-the-loop controls and AI governance guardrailsPrototype high-impact use cases and scale into production solutionsCollaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver projects in line with specifications and deadlines.Monitor performance, accuracy, and cost of AI workflows2–5 years' experience in automation, software development, or AI toolsExperience with Python or JavaScriptHands-on experience with automation / pipeline tools (Data Factory, n8n, Power Automate, Zapier, etc.)Experience with AI/LLM tools / agents (Copilot, OpenAI, Fabric Studio, Claude Managed Agents / SDK, etc.)Strong problem-solving and systems thinking skills.Brixmor offers a hybrid work schedule (first three days of the week in the office, the balance remote optional), very competitive pay commensurate with background and responsibilities plus a benefits and perks package that supports career engagement, growth, good health and connection with teammates and our communities.EOE (Brixmor is an Equal Opportunity Employer)
