As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will use a computer or tablet to document activity, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support smooth site operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control entry and exit at a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the orderly movement of personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document security-related observations and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
