Emergency Department Clinical Nurse (Days)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Licenses: Valid RN license. Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred. Key Duties Provide comprehensive nursing care, educate patients and families, and ensure communication across care teams.
