Executive Compensation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level or senior associate to join their Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits team in Miami. The role focuses on the executive compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Duties Work on executive compensation and employee benefits in M&A transactions. Draft and negotiate executive employment agreements. Develop equity incentive plans, including profits interest plans. Requirements Substantial experience with M&A, Section 280G, and Section 409A. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating executive agreements. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in the state of Florida preferred.
