Production Ag Account Manager

Compensation

- Median income: ~$110,000
- Typical range: $48,000-$245,000+ per year

Qualifications
- Outgoing, proactive personality with strong goal-driven motivation
- Knowledge of current agricultural practices
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and sit, stand, or squat for extended periods
- Ability to safely operate, hook up, secure, and transport equipment
- Willingness and ability to mentor less-experienced candidates
- Strong communication skills with ability to build customer relationships
- Proficiency with computerized tools and reports
- Strong math skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends
Preferred Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in business or an agriculture-related field
- 3+ years of account management or direct sales experience in ag equipment or a related field
Average Day as a Production Ag Account Manager
In this role, you will:
- Support customers in making informed decisions with tailored ag-equipment solutions
- Leverage your knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment to guide purchases
- Appraise trade-ins and lead equipment demonstrations
- Oversee product delivery and operator training
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Research industry trends and monitor competitors
- Stay current on incentive programs and financing options
- Develop innovative solutions that streamline processes and cultivate sales growth
