Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Night Shift PCU RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Flexible Shifts: Open to 4x12 or 3x12
- Location: Non-local candidates preferred

- COVID-19: Not Required
- Flu: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Why Join Us?
- Experience:
- 1+ years of PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown nursing experience preferred
- Preferred experience in a Community Hospital setting


- Certifications:
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required


- Patient Care Skills:
- Proficient in accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration
- Experience with telemetry, management of cardiac drips (no titration), and other critical care skills
- Familiarity with various patient diagnoses such as CHF, Afib, COPD, pneumonia


- Patient Ratios:
- 5:1 patient ratios for days and nights
- Weekend shifts included


- Facility Features:
- Interdisciplinary support available: IV Teams, PT, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more
- Daily Census: Approximately 30 patients

Additional Information:
- Travel Compliance:
- Active PA or Compact license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Must float to sister facilities if needed

Roster & Orientation:
- 12 hours of orientation, with modules to complete prior to entering the facility.
