Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Tucson, AZ, with required circulating experience and robotics/general surgery background.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting in Tucson, AZ
• General OR cases including General Surgery, GYN, and Urology
• Circulating RN responsibilities required
• Evening shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (5x8s)
• On-call requirements: approximately 4–5 weekday call shifts and 2–3 weekend call shifts per month (7a–7p or 7p–7a on Saturday or Sunday); exact frequency varies based on department staffing
• Callback response time: must return to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract start
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Experience in Robotics, General Surgery, GYN, and Urology required
• Circulating experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers will not be considered
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
