Plastic Recyclers Southeast, Inc. is a post-industrial plastic recycler and compounder that has been creating sustainable material solutions since 1991. We partner with manufacturers to collect, sort, and repurpose discarded plastic into reusable materials, promoting landfill diversion and sustainability. Operating from 600,000 square feet across facilities in Alabama, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, we assist our clients in reducing costs and their reliance on new plastic materials. This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper position located in Decatur, AL. The Bookkeeper will manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, handle journal entries, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The role also involves utilizing accounting software to manage budgets, payments, and expenses while working closely with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping, Financial Statements, and handling Journal Entries
• Experience with Accounting Software and Finance systems
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Previous bookkeeping or relevant financial experience is highly desirable
