A barista's responsibilities include:
Customer service
Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing a friendly and engaging experience
Beverage preparation
Making coffee, espresso, tea, and other drinks using a variety of techniques and equipment
Cash handling
Recording sales, operating cash registers, and adhering to cash handling policies
Cleanliness
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and keeping equipment clean and sanitized
Customer education
Educating customers about the coffee menu and answering their questions
Training
Participating in regular training to learn new recipes and broaden coffee knowledge
Communication
Recommending new menu items and communicating customer feedback to managers
Safety
Complying with health and safety regulations and following safe food handling procedures
