Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with experience designing, developing, and deploying multi-agent AI solutions, LLM-powered applications, and enterprise data platform capabilities to drive intelligent automation and business value .

Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Artificial Intelligence Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy multi-agent AI systems and LLM-powered applications to support enterprise data platform initiatives and intelligent automation.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, AI workflows, and full-stack applications using Python, FastAPI, Angular/React, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop agent orchestration frameworks, semantic search solutions, RAG architecture, NL-to-SQL capabilities, and metadata enrichment services.
• Implement AI governance, observability, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails to ensure reliable, secure, and high-quality AI system performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and Platform teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions and technical architectures.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex AI and platform issues, mentor team members, and drive engineering excellence through best practices and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on development of AI-powered applications, LLM solutions, or enterprise software platforms.
• Strong expertise in multi-agent AI systems, LLM orchestration, Agentic AI frameworks (ADK, CrewAI, LangGraph, or similar), Python/FastAPI development, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience building production-grade AI applications, including RAG architectures, semantic search, NL-to-SQL solutions, AI observability, guardrails, full-stack development (Angular/React), and enterprise-scale AI system deployment.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
