Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (Location) This position involves providing comprehensive care to obstetric patients, including deliveries, circulating C-sections, antepartum care, and initial newborn assessments. The role requires independent practice within the Labor and Delivery department, adhering to all clinical standards and protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, and Experience: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing, current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license, BLS certification, current certification in one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Instructor, AWHONN Instructor Trainer, or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), NRP certification, and ACLS certification are required. 0 years of experience required.
• Responsibilities: Provide routine and complex obstetric care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, document clinical information, and educate patients and family members.
• Additional Information: The nurse will practice independently and demonstrate an awareness of all relevant aspects of obstetric nursing, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
