Transportation Manager

Job Description We are immediately hiring a 1st Shift Transportation Manager, internally titled Customer Logistics Manager, in San Antonio, TX for our Supply Chain Solutions division, managing DOT regulated drivers. Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month. Salary: $68,000 to $71,000. Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with flexibility to work additional hours or days if needed to support business needs. Responsibilities The Customer Logistics Manager will be responsible for supervising equipment and driver compliance while partnering closely with the Operations team to support daily logistics activities. Maintain consistent communication with the Shop team to ensure equipment readiness and compliance. Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple business groups. Lead and support a team of 120–130 commercial drivers, ensuring adherence to DOT regulations and strong safety performance. Manage dispatch operations and develop daily load plans. Guide indirect reports (Supervisors), ensuring workloads are aligned with operational needs, and champion key operational initiatives as assigned by leadership. Summary The Manager Customer Logistics will oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management, primarily leading direct reports and achieving daily operational goals within the assigned functional area.
